An important goal is to actively create new research and commercial opportunities and conditions for securing efficient cooperation with potential partners, so that the TRC research meets not only the current needs of the market, but also the new commercial partners.

Innovative Headrest

The driving simulator serves the purpose of training and evaluating traffic behavior of bus and truck drivers. It consists of an original truck cabin placed on a movable base, truly simulating an actual drive, with all the shakes and sways of the vehicle.

Measuring Inspection Vehicle
One of the premises of effective road infrastructure management is a thorough knowledge of the road network. Using video mapping and a recording device, the condition of individual elements of roads can be identified and assessed.
Air Quality Monitoring
The air quality is monitored in a continuous mode by recording the concentrations of O3, NO2, NO, NOx , CO, CO2 , SO2 , H2 S, VOC and PM10/PM2.5 using the Airpointer device (Recordum Messtechnik GmbH, Rakousko).
Road Surface Roughness Measuring by the FWD Impact Device
We measure the road deflection by the FWD/HWD impact device (in accordance with ČSN 73 6192 Impact Weight Tests of Roads and Subsoil), which in select points (usually with 25-meter spacing) measures the deflection under a weight simulating the passage of a cargo truck.
